I got my start in content in 2013 with my YouTube channel Ricqcolia’s Top 5 which has amassed over 350,000 views to date. That paved the way for my career in journalism and media, where I was selected to be the Face of LoopTT in 2015. 

Loop News was the first of its kind, serving as the first official digital news agency in Trinidad & Tobago and the wider region. While there, I wore many hats as an on-field reporter, presenter, producer, writer and social media manager. I covered stories across many spectrums including politics, economy, entertainment, travel and lifestyle. 

In 2019, I transitioned into the exciting world of tourism, where I was able to hone my skills in content marketing, strategy, distribution and social media. Through the years, I’ve also done a lot of freelance work as a social media manager, copywriter and consultant for small businesses.

My career in content has reinforced for me the vitality of STORYTELLING. Customers want more than just a product or service, they want a genuine connection from the brand they’re buying from.
